In 2003, Aston Martin decided to once more partner up with the design house of Andrea Zagato to produce the very limited edition of the DB7 Zagato.
Introduced at the Pebble Beach Motor show in 2002 and then in Europe at the Paris motor show that October, the announced limited run of just 99 cars sold out very quickly.
Powered by a tuned version of the existing 6.0L V12 engine, it produced 435 BHP at 6,000 RPM and a healthy 410 LBS of Torque at 5,000 RPM.
A six speed manual gearbox completed the package and gave the car a 0-60 speed of under five seconds and on to a top speed of 186MPH.
It’s slightly shortened chassis over the standard model gave it a handling edge to ensure its nibble road manners.
Featuring the Zagato signature “double-bubble” roof design as well as the deep front grill and snub rear boot line, it is instantly recognisable.
With such a short Worldwide run number, it has become a highly collectable version of the DB7 range and is a rare sight on the roads.
