Questions about tickets and booking

How much are tickets for public entrance?

Tickets for adults cost £10 in advance, exclusively through our online booking portal. 


Children aged 15 and under get free entrance. All those aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

No!  There will be no sales at the gate at this time.


All tickets are being sold online, in advance, to avoid queuing, and ensure we can manage crowd density.

There are 4 types of ticket for the show:


  • Adult Public Admission
  • Children 15 years and under - FREE
  • Display Vehicle
  • Club Display Vehicle

This is purely so we can contact you directly, in the case of something wrong with your booking, or in the event something major has to be changed to the event.

No - tickets are non-transferable.  


If you wish to pass a ticket to someone else,  please contact us and we will amend the details and reissue the ticket for you. 


If you see people on Facebook offering tickets for resale, please ignore them. There are scammers attempting to trick people into paying them for non-existent tickets.

All vehicles must display their coloured ticket and vehicle pass in their windscreen

In the event that we cannot hold the show as planned, we provide two options:


1/ ask if you would like to kindly donate your ticket to our chosen charity St Elizabeth Hospice.


2/ a full refund will be available upon your request.

Who is behind the event?

Classics at Glemham is a not-for-profit organisation, formed by a group of classic vehicle enthusiasts.


Together with a group of volunteers, we organised the inaugural event in 2019 and it was a big success.  


This years event is being organised and run by our perfectly formed Classics at Glemham Team.


Which charities have supported by this event?

The 2019 and 2020 events, were organised to support BBC Children in Need. 


These events were organised on a not-for-profit basis by unpaid volunteers, with generous support from sponsors and local businesses.  


All money raised was used to put on the event itself and make a donation to the charity.

We know how daunting the loos can be at events like this.  That's why we ensure that there are plenty of loos, so there's little or no queuing  and decent quality mobile units from a reputable local supplier.  Some of the loos have baby changing units. 

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

 Whilst the parking and grounds are wheelchair accessible, some areas where vehicles will be on  display area are somewhat  uneven, so care should be taken. 

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.  


Please remember to clean-up after your dog!

Yes.  The grounds are ideal for a picnic.  


You will also find great value and high quality refreshments on offer from our carefully selected suppliers.

Yes, our caterers are supplying  licensed bars  This will be split into 3 locations , this year, to minimise queuing.

No.  The entry to the Hall is not included.

Glemham Hall and the estate grounds make a fabulous backdrop and allow us to show off the vehicles at their best.  


Vehicles are arranged with plenty of space around them, to allow you to get even better angles and the best possible shots.


For 2023 we know which vehicles are attending, in advance, so we are curating the layout for even better combinations of vehicles.  


This is an excellent show to attend if you love getting great shots of classic cars, super cars, exotics classic bikes, vintage commercials, and even Steam Vehicles of various sizes.

Here are a few things to consider bringing:


  • your coloured ticket and vehicle pass must be printed out and displayed in your windscreen
  • members of the public are reminded to take their ticket to the entry gate
  • camera and/or smartphone
  • contactless debit card for payments
  • small tube of hand sanitiser
  • suncream
  • sun hat if you burn easily
  • suitable footwear for walking around on grass
  • picnic blanket and/or camping chair

Gates for public admission open at 10.30am and the show will end at 5pm.


If you arrive before 10.30am you will be directed to the public car park.   For Health & Safety reasons, you will not be able to enter the show area until all display vehicles are in position.

For the 2023 show all display vehicles must pay the £10 entry fee, which includes the vehicle, driver and one passenger. We will be inviting each exhibitor to make a donation towards our charity appeal for St Elizabeth Hospice.   


You must add your vehicle details when you book your ticket.  


All display vehicles must display their vehicle pass in their windscreen. 


The organisers reserve the right to decline a vehicle for display.

What kind of cars qualify as a "classic"?

If I display a vehicle, do I have to pay an entry fee?

Generally speaking, cars registered before 1985 are considered by us to be classics.  However, we also accept more recent cars if they are "modern classics" and others of technical or nostalgic merit.  This includes modern super cars and cars of limited production runs which may be destined to be classics in the future.  


Aside from pre-1985 cars, we publish a list of vehicles we definitely consider eligible for display, irrespective of age.

What kind of motorcycles qualify as a "classic"?

Typically, any bike registered over 25 years ago can be considered a classic.


We also accept superbikes, one-offs, trikes and modified bikes.

Clubs and association members will be kept together and we will try to accommodate other requests.  However, this may not always be possible and the marshalls' decisions on parking will be final.  


It is the intention to curate the 2023 display to ensure:


  • vehicles are grouped in a way that shows them at their best
  • there is sufficient space around each vehicle to allow for safe passage 
  • the opportunities for taking great photos are maximised

Yes, as long as the replacement vehicle is eligible .  Changes can be made up until 31st August 2023.

Yes, you must be insured for at least third party liability risks. 


Road Traffic Act rules apply at the venue.

Entrance for Clubs will be via Gate A, the Hall main entrance.


Clubs are welcome bring gazebos and stands too.  We just need an estimate of vehicle numbers, so we can reserve a suitably-sized pitch.

Please arrive after 7am and before 10am, to ensure your place in the display.


If you arrive too late, you may have to park in the public car park.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, access to the display area is via Gate B Tinker Brook lane, which leads off the A12 between Stratford St Andrew and Little Glemham. 


Signs on the A12 will indicate the correct route to take and there will also be marshals on hand to help control the flow.


Tinker Brook is a narrow country lane, so please exercise caution and drive slowly as you approach the Hall. Similarly, the unmetalled road across the estate grounds from Tinker Brook to the display area is narrow, so care should be taken.

If you are not part of an officially-recognised club stand but you wish to be parked with someone else who is coming, we ask that you arrive at the venue at the same time. 


This will make it easier for the marshals to keep your group together in the display area.

How do I join my club stand?

If you are on one of the officially-recognised stands – where there is a club representative or coordinator – you will be sent to the designated pitch. 


We will know from the “door list” which vehicles belong to which club.


Club officials are responsible for what happens on their pitch, so please cooperate with them to ensure everything goes smoothly.

What are the rules on parking and positioning?

  • Please follow the marshals’ instructions.
  • Keep your speed to 5mph or less – walking pace.
  • Park as directed by the marshals and/or your club stand coordinator
  • If you have arrived with someone else with whom you are parking, this will be no problem as long as you are at the venue at the same time.
  • Once in position, apply your handbrake securely and leave the vehicle in gear.
  • You will be parked sufficient distance from the neighbouring vehicle, so you will have ample space to safely open your doors and maintain distancing.
  • Lock your vehicle if you are leaving it unattended.

Once the show ground opens to the public, vehicles must not be moved before 5pm and without prior authority from a marshal and escorted by marshals.


Once in position, please do not:


  • start your engine
  • re-fuel your vehicle
  • use your vehicle to sell goods or services (unless it’s part of a trade stand)
  • light a barbecue
  • play music


Please relax, get some refreshments and then enjoy the show by visiting the other displays, exhibits, stands, stalls and entertainment.

We are aware that some people may have booked display tickets independently, well before their club had confirmed it would have an 'official' stand at the event.


If you now want to join a club stand, please let your club's event coordinator know and cc your email instruction to david.classiccars.glemham@btinternet.com and we will try to accommodate the request.


Please note that last minute changes may not be possible due to the need to have the show layout finalised several days in advance.

Sorry - no.   


All display vehicles must be registered in advance with full details provided.  


All registered exhibitors are issued with  a COLOURED DISPLAY VEHICLE  ticket.


A Public Admission ticket does NOT entitle you to bring a vehicle into the display area.
